This is a Further Education & Training Certificate (FETC): Early Childhood Development NQF Level 4 Course. With this qualification you can open your own Educare, Creche, Day Care centre and you can teach up to grade R (However, most level 4’s are used as Grade R assistants and Level 5’s as Gr R Teachers). You can also teach at an Educare centre and become a qualified au pair. There are many Level 4 students teaching at schools.
